Student Organizations

Sociology Student Committee

The Sociology Student Committee serves as the primary student organization for Sociology majors and students interested in Sociology or social justice. Students come together to discuss classes, research opportunities, internship and volunteer possibilities, as well as career paths and graduate school. The group may bring in speakers, sponsor lecture series and organize social justice events while networking with faculty, graduate students, and fellow undergraduates.

The department also hosts two of the university’s most popular student organizations.
