Adam Benjamin
Adam (he/him) is a first-year Ph.D. student pursuing a primary concentration in Political Economy and Globalization. As a first-generation college student, he completed his undergraduate degree in sociology at Binghamton University, New York. He went on to earn his M.A in sociology at Binghamton University, where he was a Clifford D. Clark Fellow and Graduate Teaching Assistant.
Adam’s research uses a world-historical perspective to analyze relations of class, capital, and imperialism in the modern world. Specifically, he investigates the emergence, maintenance, and decline of the American empire in the post-World War II era.
