The following list of Global Studies Faculty illustrates the breadth of expertise that characterizes this interdisciplinary program. Although the list is arranged according to each faculty member’s academic department, most of the faculty are major contributors to multiple interdisciplinary programs, especially Africana Studies, Asian Studies, Cinema Studies, Latin American Studies, and Women’s Studies. The Global Studies Faculty have distinguished themselves as teacher/scholars nationally and internationally, receiving numerous coveted awards, grants, and fellowships. Students are encouraged to take advantage of this rich resource inside and outside of class; the Global Studies faculty take seriously their role as mentors and academic advisers.
