I am from Grambling, Louisiana and my focus is on Critical Race and Ethnicity and Criminology. My focus for research is on race and media, examining how we talk about racism and race in U.S. media and how racialized others are represented in U.S. media. I received my bachelor’s in sociology and master’s in social sciences from Grambling State University.
