Alicia Carter (she/they) is a first-year MA student in Applied Sociology. They received their associate degree in Science at Northwest Shoals Community College (2021) and their Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Criminology at Jacksonville State University (2024). In 2023, Alicia began their research journey by assisting in all aspects of a qualitative project titled, “Harry Potter Fan Identity Change.”

Their primary areas of interests are Black Studies, Racial Inequality, Gender Inequality, Family Structures, Religion, and Attachment Styles.
