Originally from Bangladesh, Aishwarya Ahmed holds a BSS in Development Studies from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh (2020). She then completed an MA in Sociology from South Asian University, India (2022), and followed by an MS in Sociology from Oklahoma State University, USA (2025).

Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Sociology, at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, USA. Her interests include political sociology, social movements, politics of knowledge production, violence, and governance.
