LILY LOVINGOOD
Lily is a MA student with a concentration in environmental sociology at UTK. She is interested in environmental sociology, environmental ethics, ecofeminism, and agroecology. She is broadly interested in the production of ecological knowledge on agricultural landscapes. Specifically, she studies alternative agricultural frameworks organized around notions of food justice, sovereignty, and sustainability. Before she moved to Tennessee, she lived in North Carolina and had a career doing aquatic conservation work, and worked to protect aquatic, terrestrial, and plant threatened and endangered species. She got her BS from the University of North Carolina Asheville in Environmental Science.
